One of my reading goals for the summer is to read the Iowa Children's Choice Award nominees for the 2014-2015 school year. Being a fan of Chasing Vermeer by Blue Balliet, I decided to start with Hold Fast. Upon completion of the book here are my thoughts.
Hold Fast by Blue Balliet
Genre: Mystery
Description: Mystery about a young girl whose father disappears, which lands her family in a homeless shelter. The story unfolds as Early Pearl works to find her father, Dash. If you enjoy a good mystery, I highly recommend this fast moving, enjoyable read.
