Using Your Math MInd!

I hope you are exercising your math mind this summer. I thought of you all as I was helping my husband put our new treadmill together. He asked me for the larger of the two Allen wrenches. I had to decide if 5/16 or 6/32 was larger. Hop over to Kidblog and share one way you have used your math mind this summer.

Then on this lovely rainy evening checkout the "Fight the Summer Slide" competition that I set up for our class on Sumdog. It runs until July 4.

Happy Summer,
Mrs. Sunderman

Book Swap!

I am so excited about our Book Swap and Summer Reading Challenge! Please note if you child comes home with a book that looks like it came from our classroom, it may have. I will write discontinued on them, so you know they are suppose to have them. I have pulled a few duplicates out of the classroom library and added them to the book swap books.  Thank you to everyone who donated books!

Book Swap Day!

Students brought home a green note explaining how our book swap day will work. They may begin bringing their books this Friday. If they are not sure if their book choice will work well for 4th grades, I will be happy to look at it and let them know.

At our "Book Swap Day" we will be kicking off our summer reading challenge. A note will be sent home on the 21st explaining the challenge!
