Birds Eye View of the Weather

The 3rd and 4th Graders at Garfield were treated to an assembly by Catherine Zapotocny from the National Weather Service in Valley, Nebraska.  Catherine talked to the students about weather balloons, different types of clouds, and weather safety. Students were able to touch and see the different parts of a weather balloon. You can check out the National Weather Service at weather.gov.
